What must I do to my existing email contact addresses, favourites and my existing email address supplied to various web site suppliers before changing.

You've just got to start over with your new email address - make sure you go into all your favourites so you know who to contact and give the new address to. If necessary make a list with pen and paper!

Get a web based email address such as gmail straight away.

From their you can import your email address book.

When you get your new isp, you can export them.

Then send one email to all your contacts (you can send an email once to 'all') giving them your new address.
