I just saw a pediatrician on TV say that a student's desk can have 400 times more germs than a toilet seat and that classrooms have more germs than a doctor's office.
No wonder I am sick all the time. Yuck!!!

I can't believe the state of some people's work desks either.

Lawyers tend to have tonnes of paper but some of the ones I've known over the years have some right horrors lurking underneath it all.

I'll admit to being a bit of a tidy freak about my desk but I don't know how some people can work in such apparant disorganisation and mess.

I share my desk and classroom with 2 to 3 other teachers.My own mess is one thing but other people's .....

You would hate my desk then jenna. I can only call it organised chaos - I start off with good intentions but end up in a complete mess. However I do get the job done. Hate to say that my keyboard at work could do with a good clean ..

hey EngTeach, don't even start to look into how many germs and rubbish are in your keyboard!!

try this, get one of the keyboards from work, turn it upside down above a few sheets of white paper and bang the bottom of the keyboard and look what comes out!!!

I think you have to lick the table (or toilet seat) to put yourself at risk from the germs.
