The closest is probably � la prochaine. Certainly that's what I say on leaving my favourite bar in France for the last time, on heading home to Britain after a trip there. They've never said, "What do you mean?" either in French or English. (Of course, perhaps they're just being polite!)

I assumed above that the question was an attempt to find out how the French might say, "Till the next time."

Well, QM, you're saying our cheery 'See you!' or 'Be seeing you!" to them. Seems right !

Cheers, Fred. I expressed some doubt, because on one occasion - not on the final visit - on departing the bar, I said, "Bonjour!"
Well, surely that means "Good day" and we Brits may say that either on arrival or departure. (What's wrong with these people?)
Anyway, my partner fell about laughing, though the natives were too polite. Indeed, some of them probably said, tongue in cheek, "Bonjour!" back.
