I've been doing it for the last 20 odd years. Got about 18 lines on the go. Earliest so far is about 1537, but reckon I can take that line back a bit further.

If you go into History, there is a Genealogy section in there.

1430, my Dad's direct line ancestor migrated from Roscommon into Chester City and was allowed into the Guild as a shoemaker.

Hi

Ive been doing our family trees for about 5 years now.All branches off on both sides of the family. Ive lost track of how many Ive done. Gone back to about 1620. could probably go backj further but the parish records for the area are unreadable. Ive also done neighbours and friends trees. I really enjoy it. Whilst recently doing my husbands side of the family on his mothers side, we discovered descendants were living in the same street as we lived in at the same time as us and never knew even though we knew them and their children. We had no idea anyone was living in this area.

Hope you enjoy it as much as possible. Its good fun
