An old TV series - hogg?

I can remeber that there once was a short lived TV series about an arms dealer (with a conscience) I seem to recall that it was called HOGG (or something like) but no one seems to have heard of it.
To stop my wife sayng that I am 'losing it' can any one out there help? Please.

A couple of things occur to me.I only have a vague memory of them.
There was a series starring Peter Egan called Big Boss Hogg.I think it was made in the sixties.Don't know about arms dealing,I think they were gangmembers/criminals.
Then there was Hine or Hines which was about an arms dealer.
Hope this is of help.

Glad to be of help.All I remember about Hine was that it starred Barry Ingham as an arms dealer.
