The way to tell the difference between an attorney and a cowboy in the west is that the attorney is the only one wearing cowboy boots... Cowboys now days wear tennis shoes... usually don't have a six gun but does have a rifle on the gun rack in the rear window of the pick-up truck...along with a blue-eyed border collie or blue heeler dog in the back...

Why do people call bad builders cowboys? These men and women are damn hardworking people. My cousin and her hubby emigrated 30 odd years to become farmers. They now own a large ranch with cattle,sheep etc and yes,cowboys who work from dawn till dusk!
