Why is it that I occasionally receive emails to my hotmail address, that appear to be sent from the same hotmail address (i.e. my own) It only happens in my hotmail account and not in my o2 account? When I receive such an email, who's sender appears to be me, II don't open it for fear of it being some sort of hacking device?

Anyone can make an email appear as though it is from anyone at all. It's a common trick used by spammers. Just delete them.
