This is a true story Johnny so bear with me. Many years ago when my great aunt was training to be a nurse in the City Hospital in Aberdeen she had to a stint in the VD ward which was mandatory and as you can imagine most of the patients in them days were "ladies of the night". She told me about a conversation between two prostitutes about the last time they had been up in court. The first prostitute told of how the sheriff (a judge or magistrate down south) had said to her "Madam, you are I believe a streetwalker are you not?" To which she replied "Ye what?" He said "You walk the streets do you not?" T which she replied "Well I dinna walk on the ******* rooftops do I?"
