Nothing but problems with this car
1 Answers
Bought a car a week ago, from a trader advertised in the Autotrader. Since day one, with a coolant hose splitting, emptying the coolant & the engine dying, has been in to a garage had the hose fixed & coolant topped up. Worked fine for a day, then the water pump went!! Took car to BMW specialist, who has assured me it is water pump, but may have affected the head gasket (1500+)
Told the trader who states, no warranty was implied, but it doesn't state this on any paperwork he gave me. Where would i stand on returning car for refund..?

The car is not fit for the purpose of it's intension and that means running, I had something simular a few years ago with a dealer with my sons car, the dealer give the same load of crap untill I asked for my funds back after a few calls to the AA RAC AUTO TRADER Trading Standards our local paper if I wanted their help need I say, I got the money back, Last bit of advise If you ever go for a second hand car and this goes to any person looking on this site DO NO GO ON YOUR OWN IF YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT CARS "TAKE SOMEONE WITH YOU THAT KNOWS A BIT. I hope you all the best but do not back down.
