hey, i get married next june, and cant think of what colour to bave as my bridesmaids, my dres sis oure white with gold on the bodice and quite a fairy taley dress (big in other words)! my fiance and i are quite bold, and not shy but what could go with what i want? is red a bit common now? i was thinking watermelon colour but not sure... ARGH! thanks guys x
why not see what colours are available first? otherwise you may choose a colour thats impossible to get dresses in.
Plus some colours dont suit many people (like yellow for instance)
jewel colours tend to suit a lot of people. like emerald, ruby, sapphire.
Also it depends of whether you want to hire or purchase dresses. For purchase, Debenhams can be good value so perhaps start taking a look at their ranges for ideas of styles and colour.
My God-daughter is getting married next year and has got her bridesmaids dresses from BHS. They are burgundy, and for the younger bridesmaids, burgundy and cream. I think they are really nice, but why not have a look around, especially with your chief bridesmaid/matron of honour and see what you think?
I got married last year in white and decided that I wanted my bridesmaids, who were all children, to wear lilac. Unfortunatly it only suited one of the five, so they tried a few different colours on and settled on gold.
We got them from BHS and there was a lot of choice colourwise so you could try there just to get some idea of what will suit people
