I have discovered a stange thing!  When I use the header footer facility to indicate page 1 of 2 etc, my printer does not print what is on screen!  Instead it pronts page 1 of 1 when it should be page 1 of 2.  Print preview shows it to be correct (1 of 2).  Actually printing the document it prints 1 of 1??!!??

I have now resorted to forwarding the doc to another computer at work, and it prints correctly!

What is wrong with mine at home?  Why does it not print what is showing correctly on the preview?

Any ideas?

You don't say what version of Word you're using but this is quite a common bug in some versions of Word.

You can find more information here.

In File/Page Setup check that the header & footer settings are not too low on the page, and check the paper size settings in page setup (and printer setup if you have one).
