The only deodorant that helps me is the PALMOLIVE ones only the roll-on actually. on the extreme end of the scale im pretty sure u can get plastic surgery on ur armpits (saw it on some weird Hollywood programme). Also if you're physically an active and fit person u tend to not sweat so easily I think.

If you can afford it, you can get Botox injections underarm but it expensive and only last 3 months.
I worked with someone with the same symptoms who was paranoid about it, showered twice a day but just sweated loads.

This is supposed to be good if it is just underarms that you are concerned about, probably loads more brands available now.

Mitchum Anti-Perspirant Deodorant

all main shops sell it.

Extreme measures, I have seen some celebs having botox in their armpits to stop the sweat glands working......... I would try other things first..........All the best.
If the problem's very severe, you can also have a small op to remove the sweat glands, but I don't know if it's done on the NHS. Have a word with your doctor. x
what a load of old twonk - if your sweating is that bad, deoderant alone won;t work, no matter which one it is. get some aluminium based roll on from your gp to put on your armpits every couple of days - works like a treat. better than having needles stuck in your armpit and much cheaper too...
Ok, I had this problem and I have found a way to stop it completely and no surgery needed. I swear by it. I use this product called Driclor. You have to put it on at night and it does sting a bit at first but it really does work. Give it a go... http://www.expresschemist.co.uk/driclor.html
i agree with daisy cup, i use the same thing or there is another one called androyl forte which you get behind the counter at boots, it is the same as driclor but is about 2 cheaper.
I bought some Mitchum yesterday and am going to give it a go today. I can't wear grey tops either, so today I'm going to do a grey top test with the Mitchum on. It's a nice sunny day too, so I'll let you know how I get on :)
Have a wash!
My son had the op to remove sweat glands from his armpits, he had one done at a time cos the lung had to be deflated. He now finds he sweats on his back worse than ever!! Twinny
Okay, so I've tried Mitchum and I'm not impressed. Hasn't kept me dry at all. However, it seems to work for other people, so you could still try it.
I use mitchum and it works great for me, but along the same lines as twinny-15's son, I now sweat more in other places!!
The only real solution that worked for me was using Linden Voss Triple Dry ! It is applied at night btw... and did not sting like the Driclor stuff. Please have a look at these other alternative anti perspirants - there is no need to suffer. I would recommend you start off trying Mitchum and if that doesn't work, then progress onto Driclor or Linden Voss - some folk get on with one or the other, it depends on your skin.
Ok so some of the suggestions might not work, but stupid comments like ''have a wash'' just ignore them, it is nothing to do with that, sweat does not smell, its only when its left and starts reacting with bacteria etc that it does, you can start sweating as soon as you are out of the shower!!!
