Bad & sad day for me

Some of you know i have a narrowboat on the canal and spend most weekends on it ( bridgewater canal }
Well last night a friend of ours fell in (unbeknown to anyone ) and we found him in the canal this morning dead ...
The area was swarming with police and they stopped boats cruising up and down the canal , we all had to give statements ..
Dave will be missed and he was a real nice guy...

Don't agree, cazzz. I think you will find that most posts on this forum need to be taken with a very large pinch of salt and I would be most surprised if the majority did not treat it in that way. I spotted the other post re death of goldfish and that is not a rarety!!!

I am aware that sometimes it is better to talk about a trauma you have suffered to get it out of your system, and it does help.
You know what they say "It's good to talk"
You are obviously still in shock and that is what makes us talk to other people to help you with what you are feeling.
Don't allow some folk wind you up.
We are not all like that. xx

So sorry to hear about your friend Patricia. It must have been an enormous shock to you and as cruella says you will need to talk about this to try to make some sense of what happened. There's more good than bad on here and we're here to listen

I ttoo have found solace by posting on here -you do get the usual fool but in the main I had fanatstic support.

I am so sorry for your loss and dont be put off posting again -it often helps to talk wiht people inconnected with the tragedy.Take care xx
