does anyone no the relase date for the new film war of the worlds, directed by the legend, stenven spielberg. i saw a clip of it, but missed the date, for an U.K premiere.

Just kidding .. the guy has made so many fantastic films he's alowed one or two stinkers - and War of the Worlds IS looking the business!!

Mind you, I'll forgive him anything just for the Cameo at the start of Goldmember! =o)

Heh Heh ... already have the CD my good friend! And well worth the money aswell. Not as much CGI but the Narration is velvet ... I'm expecting a similar ending for the film, but sometimes it's not about the destination as much as the journey, right? ;o)

Anyone got any thoughts on that? I mean, ID4 used a variation of the ending for their film ... ?

i was excited to hear it was being made but then disappointed to hear that it more of a remake of the 50's film than a movie of the book.

but hopefully the movie will still be good but just for different reasons

I'm vaguely interested in the CGI version, but wonder if it is too long after the "musical" came out to be a hit. (I have it on Vinyl!)
