over 40 yerars on and i still feel exactly the same about them. I hope Hindley is rotting in hell right now and hope Brady joins her soon! I'd happily help with his wish to die.
I don't like them much, though people who accuse them of being evil often come up with some interestingly inventive ways of torturing them that the two of them might well have dreamed up themselves.
I wonder how they would have turned out as individuals if they had never met each other?
Together they were capable of great evil, but did they need each other to spark that, or would they have been committing appalling crimes on their own?
That's an interesting point Ethel!
I think Brady would have gone on to be evil, he'd been on the slippery slope from his teenage years. Hindley I think was just in awe of him, possibly couldn't have imagined life without him & subsequently was introduced in to sadism.
Seems a strange question to ask. Do you expect us to start to feel sorry for them?
Nothing has changed expect one met with death and on hearing the news I celebrated with a glass of wine. The other is a 6 stone skeleton living in a room on his own. The wine for his demise is chilling in the cellar all ready.
They say time is the great healer. Where murderers of any kind are concerned though, time just continues to remind us what evil individuals they both were.
Think it showed the perils of controlling characters. I think Brady was the pervert who controlled Hindley. She was too weak to resist Brady and too desperate for a relationship.
Fortunately they never had children of their own.
For 'love' to thrive on the murder of children is debased and devillish. They deserve all they suffer and more...........
