Ken has pulled himself together after his brief out of character storyline, does anyone else think he should have carried on into the abyss and finished up like Les Battersby with his electric cut off and him falling off the roof on top of Blanche attempting to connect himself to Emilys wiring Altogether a more realistic plot.

It wasn't totally out of character. He's had episodes like this before, usually resulting in an affair because he feels so trapped by his beginnings and environment.

I think him going slightly loopy and burying Blanche and Deirdre under a concrete hardstaning in their backyard would have been welcome enough conclusion.
Les Battersby was a "lightweight" in the street, keep Ken, The Street needs an intellectual, Mike has gone, Dev has no golfing partner, I want to see if Ken's book hits the bestseller list, Harold Robbins move over!!
I still can't get my head past the fact that he is in his 70's - that defies belief except that his real age is 76!!.
I think he looks great for his age, and if he has had any form of cosmetic surgery it's been very good.

Betty Driver is 88 and she's had a fascinating life - she used to be a big band singer and had her own radio show.

We haven't heard much about Dev and his new romance for the past few days, perhaps the producers have been reading our comments on here!
I't about time Ken had another affair, but who's available with an intellectual leaning? All I can think of is Ted - well Blanche would have her theory proved anyway.
(Good looking man for his age though - the hair helps).
I agree gelda - I'm hoping the Dev and Mina (?) or whatever her name is has sunk into oblivion! In fact Dev can do the same!

Do you remember when Les Battersby's electric got cut off? They cut it off in the kitchen and reconnected it in the hall. Not good continuity and to add insult to injury, the buffoon had an aluminium stepladder! So what about health and safety on television?
Hello celeryman. Yes, I do remember when Les had his electric installed! It was a very long time ago though. I wonder who they paid to install that meter he had in the front room?
That was in February 1999 when Janice contracted the electricity board and had a legal, pre-paid meter installed.

Wow, thanks for that!
