How is everyone today? Usual grey and wet start here in Hampshire and another early start for me. Nearly Bank Holiday too - anyone doing anything exciting?

No idea why I am awake at this early hour, perhaps it is God punishing me for not doing the ironing yesterday lol.
Fortunately dog is still asleep so I can get a decent cup of coffee before I have to don my galloshes and wellies
Have a good day everyone

Morning bensmum and everyone
Not a bad start here in Yorkshire after the downpours of yesterday.
We had a great long weekend in Reading with our son. We went to Winchester on Saturday, What a fab place. Full of history. The cathedral and great hall were fantastic. Must go again when down that way.

Good morning bensmum. It's very warm up here in Aberdeenshire though overcast but the sun is beginning to peep through-unlike yesterday when it was still almost dark at this time and the rain-my how it rained, all day. Our binmen are on strike today so we won't get our recycling stuff collected. I'm having a titter because the lady across the road has put hers out and she's a teacher and the janitors and dinner ladies at her school will be on strike also so why she thinks her bin will be collected I don't know. Anyway back to the Bank Holiday which we don't get up here have a very nice time-are you doing anything special?
