bank holiday on monday here too-but its not that big a thing---you lot have a bank holiday every month,so it seems

thank you beejay - I feel so much better now! We don't have that many Bank Holidays but time goes by so fast they seem very close together - next one is Christmas :(

Feeling sad today cos the Olympics are nearly over.

Got up early(ish) and ran on the beach for an hour. Got back just in time to see the highlights of the BMX, which made me cry when our girl crashed on the last bend. It's all too heartbreaking, I can't stand it. OMG, typing this has made me cry again.

Now I'm having coffee and yougurt, and watching the beach volleyball highlights on the Beeb.

Well I have good and bad today!!

Bad - 18 yr old daughter got dumped by text after over a year b@stard!

Good - have now lost 11lbs, other daughter got her 9 GCSE's yesterday and out clubbing with my lovely mate tonight!!

Sounds as if some of you have some nice plans for the weekend - hope the weather stays fine for you all.
Good for your daughter getting her GCSEs, sally. The kids here were very excited yesterday and the school was well pleased as its average is up again. Bad luck for the older daughter tho' - what a coward to use text!
