Usher cd

How do i copy the usher cd, as it comes up in its own player does any body have any ideas? its the new album confessions. Thank You

Close the player and open Windows Media Player. It should still recognise it as an audio cd.

Or using Nero or similar, copy the entire disk.

take the Usher CD and the blank CD, put them both in the microwave for 30 seconds, take them out and they both sound better than the original.

I hope you are only making a "back up" of the CD as copying it for friends, etc is in violation of the copyright regulations...the reason you are having problems copying it is to try and stop the pirates.

Perhaps a little more helpfully -

some manufacturers are encrypting albums to prevent copying, and this album may fall into that catagory. If so, you may have to wait until the computer boffins find a way around the coding - this game of cat and mouse goes on all the time, but it's frustrating if you happen to be in the middle like this.

Or you can make a copy in real time by simply plugging a regular CD player into the "line in" socket on the back of your computer. Quality might be slightly lower than normal, but probably not enough to worry about unless you're a real audiophile (in which case you should have bought it on 180gm virgin vinyl in the first place...)
