system restore

My internet explorer has gone all strange and I need to go back a week to put my computer back to how it was then. The system restore only lets me go back 3 days, I cant highlight any other date, any ideas please

isnt there an option to select your own restore point?
im no techy
but usually it says select a preset restore point
or choose your own.

Forget the system restore - remember, each restore takes up hard disk space, so when the allocated space for it becomes fall, earlier system restore points are deleted.

You need to tackle the problem you have - what exactly is happening, when did it happen and what have you tried so far?

What OS do you have? XP, Vista or something else?

When I click on the IE icon the page takes ages to open up, sometimes 2 or 3 pages then open, its driving me crazy! Sometimes it tries to connect then just goes straight back to my front screen

Have you got the latest version of IE? IE7.

If you have, has it worked properly since you downloaded it?
