Do modern barbershops cut ladies /girls hair these days? I know a lot of women are getting tired of paying high prices in salons when they only want a trim at times. Has any ladies here ever tried a barbers before or was taken to a barbers whey you were younger. Id be interested in any stories you have thankyou.

I have had my fringe cut a couple of times at the barbers, when desperate! Once was when my mother-in-law had had a heart attack, so had to cancel my hair appointment (father-in-law needed looking after aswell as visiting mum-in-law in hospital), so I popped into the barbers where I take my sons and he cut it for me. I don't think he even charged me, which was very nice of him.
Stylists spend 2y basic training but a top T&G/L'Oreal/Wella trained stylist takes further 4y. Google the acadamys to see costs of training. Most salon owners have superior qualifications to barbers. That's what you're paying for! U can cut your hair at home free.....and pull out your own teeth to save on dentists.
If your hair was styled in a salon ur fringe would be trimmed free or 5 minimum (stops clients coming in everyday for a hair out of place). Fringes are point-cut today with hair-scissors. It may seem little work but your hair must be swept up, gowns laundered etc etc (salon costs).
