signing property over under duress

A couple of years ago, I left the matrimonial home of 18 years, left everything intact, was then asked to sign the jointly owed property over to my spouse who lived there , in a very depressed state and for some crazy reason i did this, now after about 3 years i wonder if i can get anything back,i think it is a lost cause but worth the question

You refer to mental capacity, not duress.

Thank you for your answer, i was told that unless i signed over the property right away , my spouse would not be able to remortgage and keep the property and would be out on the streets, even though the property was a 5 bed detatched with pool and land

Duress is the fear of immediate violence which is inescapable.

It does not apply to your situation.

Asked by who? Your spouse, a third party, the court?

Did you get divorced and, if so, were property and other financial details sorted out then?

I'm with you two, don't think it's duress at all, just seeing if there is any other advice I can give.
