firefox 3

Pleease can anyone help. I always use firefox except for a few sites which don't support it. Last night I downloaded Firefox 3 to update (several times) but I get a message Mozilla crash reporter saying Firefox problem crashed etc. It goes through download install etc but does this when trying to open now I don't have it at all and I'm not happy with IE at the best of times
Should I try system restore to at least get my previous version back and if so where do I find it on Vista

greetings Wendy-I reverted to Firefox 2- by choice because version 3 was 'too clever'. There are download sites where one can still get it..

Firefox 3 ain't that great. Personally I would stick to 2.

I got that message, and I clicked 'never' to the download as I had been hearing rumours about it.

thanks I will try again but last night I got the same results trying to revert as. well I have just installed firefox 3 on a new laptop with no probs and had to use it get my gmail IE is not working on PC
