BT broadband settings

I have a BT broadband service at home which I have been using with a Belkin wireless router. We recently bought a new laptop so I installed all the belkin information on to the laptop. I was being asked for the passkey which I didnt know. I called BT who wouldnt help as I wasnt using their hub. I called Belkin who told me to reset my belkin box. As soon as I did this the internet now wont connect. All I get is local connection and page cant be displayed. I believe I need the BT broadband settings to put into the belkin settings. Does anyone know what these are? Am desperate!! Thank you in advance.
