Why is my engine kangooring in effect?
9 Answers
I have a problem and would like some help? The problem is, when its damp or a bit cold outside, i turn on my engine and it seems to judder. I have a Vauxhall Corsa 1998 1.2 4 cylinder. Like I said, its only when the weather is damp or cold. When I start driving, and I put my foot down on the accelerator, the car judders if you will, (like kangooring). I've changed the spark plugs and the air filter, but this has had no effect. Can anyone give a possible diagnosis for the problem?
Thanks

Before having a diagnostics check, you can check the condition of the spark plugs & security of HT lead & other electrical connections. An HT lead "breaking down" internally will give an intermittent misfire before complete failure.
