OK so you didnt feel like that last time, but dont forget that last time you only had youself to look after, not your daughter too.
I found my second a lot harder than my first but was reminded of that very same thing.
All pregnancies are different but at the moment it sounds as if you are experiencing pretty normal side effects, of course call your midwife to discuss as she may send you for blood tests to check your iron levels etc.
The aches and pains are the ligaments softening and (i dont know how old your daughter is) if you are carrying her then you could put extra pressure on your back.
With my first, a boy, i could sleep for england, with my second, a girl, i was sick a lot. Perhaps its a gender thing?
Anyway, eat little and often to keep your blood sugar stable and rest as much as you can.
I hope it passes soon for you

Hey Hun,
I know exactly how you feel my little girl is 6 and my baby 6 months old and in the first 3 months I would have hapily (and did) of slept anywhere I could despite usually being very fussy about where I sleep. The pregnancy in the early stages just zapped me of all my energy totally and utterly exhaused me. But it did start to improve after the first 3-4 months.
I think its harder having the older ones home on holiday especially being pregnant and I find myself exhaused now with the baby too. But they go back on thursday so cant wait to settle back into routine. Hope all goes well for you and congratulations on your good news x x

hiya, i am also 8 weeks gone now, it actually sounded like you were describing how im feeling! this is my third baby (my other 2 are 9 and 5) and i never felt like this before, constantly shattered , sore back, VERY sore boobs!
My doctor reassured me that it is fine, its just that our bodies are using all our energy because this is the time when the baby does most of its growing even though you cant see anything there is a lot going on inside! She also said that it should settle down by the end of the first trimester , roll on 4 weeks time then!
hope this helps, and congratulations xxxx

hi
know how you feel, i had 5 months of sickness and felt lousy all the time
i struggled even to eat (thankfull now as i'm still a stone lighter than i was before i fell preggers)
i felt so bad, all i could eat for about 2 months was potatoes and cheese or cornflakes. and i was working so id have my cornflakes in the morning but just wasn't able to was the bowls so id do my week at work and have 5 bowls sitting there by friday night and 5 tuper ware tubs that had my potatoes in. i just couldn't even face washing 1 bowl a day.
my sickness went away for a month or so then came back (not as bad) in the last two months. thats when i started getting back ache. i ended up sleeping all day and up all night.
on the plus side, i've got the wee one off her night feed, she's so laid back and sleeps from about 10pm ish till anywhere between 6-9.30am ish. has a bottle then goes back to sleep!!! some folk have said because i had such a bad pregnancy thats why she's so good - just an old wives tale i think but you never know
its like they say every pregnancy is different. i had 9 months of feeling like rubbisth then a very bad labour and i'm stil in pain and its been 9 weeks, and they say my next pregnancy will probably be different
