How much, on average, are tattoos? I know it will vary depending on where you go, but I only want a small one on my hip. My ex had one on his arm a few weeks ago and it cost him over 100, so I was just wondering what other people paid for theirs?

Who mentioned your body? Who are you, J-Lo? I assume if you have to cover it up with tattoos then it ain't all that great anyway.
another(distorted)-view, you are amazing.
And not in a good way.

I have a relatively large tattoo on my back (just done today actually) and it cost 80 and took roughly an hour. My tatooist bills by the hour but if you actually have more intricate work done requiring a lot of detail it actually costs less, (my sisters last sitting was about 60) than a design like mine. This is because mine was over with in one go whereas she has had to have some of her work done in stages, same as her boyfriend. (Mind you, they're also friends with the tattoist!)
Shan't grow up.

I'm a pensioner and I have no plans on growing up any time soon.

Done the work bit, raised the family bit, this is my playtime.

So there.
i also have tattoos and i didnt have them to make a "statement", i had them because i wanted them, they cant be seen unless i want to show them
I must have seen and washed thousands and thousands of tattoos.

but that doesnt mean that they were there to make a statement
They spoke loudly to me. :)
I think it's a tribal instinct Ethel.
