Best pasta sauces!
14 Answers
Hey all,
Just wondering what pasta sauces you guys like?
Me and my fella both love pasta and sauce with different things in (like sweetcorn, bacon, onion) but we always seem to end up having tomato and basil sauce!
Looking for some varieties please, or even other things to try adding.
One thing, I can not stand carbonara sauce!!

I simply finely chop an onion, a couple of cloves of garlic, two sticks of celery and then add some spices (smoked paprika, black pepper etc), a can of chopped toms, another canful of water, a teaspoon each of salt and sugar (yep !!!!) and some fresh shredded basil (or dried basil if need be)... Let it chatter away to itself, then either mash or whizz up in the processor. Gorgeous poured over simply cooked pasta and a few pine nuts & chunks of mozzy cheese. Easy peasy and can be frozen or left for reheating the following night..
