Helloooo :)
Am back from New York and sooo tired.
Had the most amazing time and can't wait to go back as so much more I want to do.
Hope everyone's good, have I missed anything exciting?

Ok...flew into Newark so got to have a proper taxi ride (great, stuck together with gaffa tape and big crack in the windscreen haha) to the hotel (on 45th off Madison) then couldn't check in til 3 so had a wander and chatted to a really nice irish girl in a bar who gave us some brilliant tips re tipping and what to do when.
Went to Time Square (wow!) and had dinner in Bubba Gumps.
Friday found a great proper diner for breakfast (what kind of people eat that amount of food! Love the automatic giving you water thing though and amazing eggs and omelettes (huge though and potatoes and toast on top!) - Neil did pancakes and waffles so got to try some of his.
Did the Empire State and only queued about 20 mins - incredible view! Then did lunch at Wendys and went up 5th Ave, beautiful St Patricks cathedral, Trump Tower, Tiffanies etc... and into Central Park. Did the zoos then Strawberry Fields and back down Central Park West then did the Top of the Rock (Rockefeller Center) at night - WOW!!!
Saturday we walked down 5th Ave through the Fashion District (NY Fashion Week so lots of scarily tall and thin models about) through Greenwich Village and the uni then Soho, lunch on Mulberry St in Little Italy (loved it!), China Town for some lovely souveniers then walked to the Wolrd Trade Centre site for a moment of quiet reflection then down Wall St and to the Staten Island Ferry. Went to Staten Island and back to see the harbour and Statue of Liberty then took the subway back to Time Sq.

Saturday saw some of the Brazillian Carnival in town and did the fab bus tours, did downtown from Time Sq to Whitehall nr Staten Island Ferry then hopped on the Brooklyn tour and got off in Brooklyn and walked back over the Brooklyn Bridge, did the remaining downtown back to the Theatre District then caught the uptown tour round Central Park, Harlem and museums seeing where the celebs live and where John Lennon lived. Then took the night tour to see everything lit up and stopped at the Hulton Ferry landing in Brooklyn for the New York skyline at night then had dinner in Planet Hollywood.
Monday we did the beautiful Grand Central Station then Madison Sq Gardens then Macys and up to Time Sq and got a brilliant caricature done by a street artist then down 5th and to Bloomingdales (so much nicer than Macy's) then for a carriage ride in Central Park before heading back to the hotel to get our stuff to fly home.
I wanna go back!!!
