weeping birches again!
4 young trees were planted last autumn. From the answers I have had I think I shall have to take them down. I am wondering how long I could leave them in before they start making a real nuisance of themselves

Another thought; If the trees have only been planted for a year the roots may not have "travelled" too far so you could consider either moving them to a better place or, if you have a traditional garden centre nearby you may be able to do a swap for something else. If you are to move the trees again do it when they are dormant, and cut through the root area in a circle slightly larger that the original pot size as a minimum, a bigger rootball is always better, if you are feeling strong!!
