I went to a bank for change $100.00 (one hundred dollars)
to smaller denomination.
The bank refuses to make a change because, I do not have a account there.
Is there any law the bank can refused to make change for different denomination about money ?
I assume you are in the US. - In the UK there is no onus on the bank to change money etc - after all they provide a service to their customers and are responsible to their shareholders.
I too can only speak for the UK but I imagine the laws are similar in the US. The fact is no outlet has to serve you anything and they do not have to say why, it is a basic tennet of all retail in the UK . The US probably has an equivalent system
