Metal Detectors as anyone found anything thats Valuable?

Remember these were quite the fashion a few years back, think alot of men got these as pressies, cunning plan by the women, get the men out of the house for quite a few hours, anyway has anyone found anything that is quite valuable???

Still creases me up and its only 40 secs long.

But no I have never been metal detecting apart from a quick course in landmine sweeping, which is similar I suppose.
