old film with tiny ice skater

my mum remembers seeing this 'B movie' at the cinema back in the fifties. she can't remember the exact plot but she thinks it was some kind of romance/mystery thriller, but she really vividly remembers a scene about a tiny ice skater coming out of a shell, she thinks it was black and white but she's not sure, what was it called? its been bugging her for years

This could be "Sun Valley Serenade" starring the famous Norwegian ice-skater, Sonja Henie. It was made in 1941. I could be wrong though, 'cos I don't think it's a thriller. Google her. Born 1912, died 1969.
