Does anybody know how to deal with a young male siamese cat who urinates everywhere especially clothing and bags. It's driving me and my wife nut's as he doesn't seem to stop. We tried a plug in scent which doesn't seem to work. Does anybody know any cures for this.

I really appreciate anybody's help.

It's natural for male cats to scent their territory......get a female
He is scent marking, and male cats realy love to do this !!..Is he over 6 months? If so,he could be neutered and that should make a big difference to his behaviour.
It may make a big difference to his behaviour, but if left to late some male cats can still spray after being neutered!

My Smokie is very very loving, he was done when he was about 2 years old, and I found out the hard way he could still spray :-(

I got woken up one night by him spraying in my face! I can tell you, at the same time I think it is quite cute he is owning me, I have never run to the bathroom so fast or felt so euuuuugh in my life as I did the next day!
Ooooh wiggal ! I nearly choked on the mini sausage roll i was polishing off there lol !!...Oh gawd!! The little b@@@er;-)
lol linda, it really was nasty!!

And now whenever the poor boy comes for a cuddle in bed, if he turns his back on me I'm pretty quick to push him off the bed!!

I feel kind of honoured he feels so protective of me! but there is only so much I can deal with!
We love our babies !! But..really..in your case !! Anything else would be above and beyond the call of duty wiggal ;-)..I'm still grimacing at the thought of "it" !
Just thinking back to having a mouthful of cat wee turns my stomach!!

But Smokie is a very loving boy, he lives to look hard, he & his sister Sammy are both 4 years old and the oldest of our 7, but the poor boy is a wimp!

The smallest thing scares him! When its around firework night we have to keep the dishwasher open at all times as he cuddles up and hides under the door! If he is having a cuddle and you sneeze, you have to pretty much peel the poor boy off the ceiling!

I put up with alot from my pets, but what he did has to be the worst by far!
Aww ,poor Smokie ;-)..There's nothing as freaked as a timid cat... who's has issues ;-) So American but true eh?..7 cats and 7 times the love wiggal, lucky you!
Very much 7 times the love!

My kitten (well, she is 17 months old now!) but the youngest and will always be by kitten! She brought me her first present ever tonight of a tiny shrew, well I think thats what it was! it was very little but not a mouse!

Very hard keeping all the cats away from it whilst my fella gets the gloves on to remove it, need eyes in the back of my head!!
Castration should help, but whatever you do, don't clean his spray with bleach, the smell is v attractive to cats. Use a citrus/ lemon spray, they don't like that. Try not to leave anything lying around that he's scent marked before, he will try to re mark it!
Good luck
