Quality of clothes

Is it just me,or does' anyboby else find that clothes seem to be shoddily made these days.Went on a shopping spree this week,saw nothing but creased badly made clothes ranging from cheap to expensive they were all the same.

We live in a throw away society now. Apart from a few exceptions, not many people are willing to fork out for tailored clothing that will last us for years. The vast majority, me included, would rather pay a few quid for a fashion item, then throw it away a few months later.

Because we live in a disposable society, I don't think most day-to-day clothes are made to last for too long. If you want something that does, your best bet's to stick to the timeless classics and just pay a bit more.

That's so true! I remember my mum used to mend my socks! Who does that nowadays??? When they look tired, you just buy 5 pairs for 3 quid!

Let's be honest max - how many people even bother to sew their clothes up any more? I can remember my mum sewing new zips into jeans, but these days, if they bust - they've had it.
