yorkshire pudding recipe

i love yorkshire pudding but am unsure how to make iot. i know its very similar to pancake mix but i think the quantities differ any simple recipes as i am not jamie oliver welcome

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I use this method, get a small glass tumbler measure equal amounts of plain flour,milk and water,eggs,plus a dash of vinegar, whisk till lump free, and then let rest, when cooking put oven on at 230degrees,for yours maybe 220degrees, put fat in yorkshire tin and put in oven till smoking, remove and pour in batter, should make about 12 small yorkies,cook for 20, 25 minutes, and remember dont open the door for at least 20minutes good luck!!!

I use 4 oz of sifted plain flour, 1/2 pt of milk and 3 eggs
Whisk together with a pinch of salt and leave to rest for half hour.
Meanwhile, get a deep muffin tray with 12 sections and fill each "pot" with about 5mm of vegetable oil and heat the oil in the oven at about 250....the oil should be very hot !!!
After half an hour, put about 2 tablespoons of batter in each pot...it should fizz a bit and then put in the oven at 200 for around 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
DO NOT OPEN THE OVEN DOOR UNTIL THEY ARE COOKED or the puddings will flop down
