google e-mail

I cannot get into my google mail in box, have tried everything.
How can I contact google to determine what is wrong ?
Has anyone else had problems with g-mail ?

Mine is okay - can you sign in?

when I sign in nothing happens - I've tried changing my password, even tried to close my account but still nothing happens.
Luckily I have another e-mail address (not g-mail) so I am using that.
It's just annoying that I can't determine what is wrong with the google e-mail.

If you can't get in via the web, why not use POP3 mail (via Outlook Express or another email client)? If you've not already configured your client to receive mail from Gmail, see here:

If you find that you require another email address, try Gawab. (It's what I use. You can receive mail both via the web and through an email client). See paragraph 3, et seq, of my post here:

Thanks Chris for your time and trouble.
Maybe I'll forget google and do as you suggest.
I think I may have got rid of the g-mail anyway, in some respects that may be a good thing - I was getting 80 or so spam messages daily.
