Can I make the type bigger on my laptop?

Got fixed up to use a laptop today, and I'm used to a 19 inch monitor screen on my main computer. The type on the laptop looks tiny in comparison.

Is there any way I can make the type bigger on the laptop?

I answered this on the wrong thread! Ijust press ctrl+ to increase text size.

As Scotgal indicates, Ctrl+ will change the size of everything in your web browser.

If you want to change things on your display in general, try dropping the resolution down a bit. Right-click on the desktop and select 'Properties' and then 'Settings'. Move the 'screen area' slider to the left a bit. Click 'Apply' and 'OK'.

If you hold the Ctrl key down and press the + key one click at a time until you get the size you want.

Are you using the + key on the numeric keypad (which is the right one) or the one above the letters?

Chris, I'm using the one that's on the same key as the = sign. It's the only one on my keyboard ...... :o(

Just go to View > Text size at the top of your screen

Chris, I've done that, and the type that I put into the search engine is bigger, but the type on AB is still the same (small) size.

I wonder why my keyboard doesn't have a numeric keypad? Do ya think I've been sold a pup? Just my luck. Mind you, it should be expected with a name like chappie .......
