Please send a s.a.e and �1.00. If you wish to send a cheque (although cash is prefered) please make it out to EAAA. Unfortunately no matter how large or small the cheques are the EAAA are charged for banking them thus your �1.00 is then nearly halved!! Perhaps you could possibly consider making the cheque out for a small amount more to cover the cost!!

hiya jayhow, my sister posted the envelope in nottingham but was having the quiz sent to me in derbyshire, I apologise if there was not enough postage on it, she probably wouldnt have realised. There were 2 x �1 coins in it and a sae addressed to me in derbysire.

At last it seems I've found 1 of my missing people! I've been in the post office to ask what happens with a refused letter and they say that it goes back to a central office and then they will return to sender if address is on the back. If not, then they should open the letter to see if there's any i.d! Goodness knows how long this takes but if all goes well then you 'should' get the letter sent back to you as it's your sae inside!!
However, this now means you are without a quiz!! Never fear, you still have a month to do it so if you would like to send again (check postage price!!) I will send you the quizzes by return. Many thanks

wont bother sending for it again, the letter shouldnt have been understamped anyway, it was only an A5 envelope with another A5 envelope inside, how would that make it go over?

Hi. I know what you mean!! I would imagine it was the weight of the coins that pushed it over, we'll never know!! This 'new' postage system seems really silly to me too!! I think it all depends as well on where you post it from. A friend of mine had to go and pick a parcel up from the post office last christmas because of underpostage. Turned out it was from his mother who lives up country. He rang her to tell her and she said that she had purposely been in the post office to get it weighed and that was what they had charged her, yet through the main sorting office it had been said to be underpaid!!
Crazy world we live in!!
Anyway, hope you will join in the next one!!

yes it is crazy, the good thing is the Post Office have returned the envelopes and the 2 �1 coins, so we haven't lost out, the only people that lost out were the charity.

I always like a good quiz so I'll keep my eyes open for the next one.
