Make a nice hamper with her favourite food and drink and have a picnic at one of your first places, where you first met, kissed etc. But obviously choose the best suited place.

Tesco's car park us a no no..lol
There shouldn't be an apostrophe in 'ideas'.
You could make vouchers of promises, for example:

I will wash up after dinner for a week
A trip to the cinema/bowling/swimming/skating
A foot massage
A cook free day
A day out
Breakfast in bed

These could last 12 months, and you have to be prepared to honour them. You must know what she really enjoys doing and what she really hates.
The thing is they must be personal to her and your life together, and take a bit of effort on your part.

You have a pc and a printer - you could make them very attractive.

Ethel thats such a good idea, you are too clever for your own good.
Try a red letter day.

Maybe hot air ballooon or helicopter flight.

I got a helicopter flight for my birthday fro and ex gf and i still rememebre it to this day.

Its different and memorable.

you could try ethels ideas any day

just to show her you love her

Red letter days are not particularly cheap and they do show a lack of originality
send her out to get her hair done while you cook her favourite meal with wine, candles, soft music etc
Well my helicopter ride wasnt particularly exspensive , on the contrary it was only about 35 quid.

It was very gratefully appreciated , and to be honest pretty original , i havent met a lo of folk who have been in a helicopter.

And id never be so disrespectful to turn my nose up at it either ethel.

Never .
Never been in a helicopter? I've been in one several times - every time I go to the Scilly Isles.
It's no big deal

You could have a themed birthday party for her and all your friends .
not necessarily exspensive , but it would be a day to remember.

Think of a theme that shed like .Maybe country and western so you could have cowboy cowgirl theme or if shes an elvis fan a rock n roll party
play the favourite music and everyone brings a bottle all you needs some food.and thats not exspensive for a party.

Thats great to hear ethel.
But.
I did think this thread was about puddingkings wifes birthday?
Oh Ethel,

The Scilly Isles, I used to work there years ago at the Tregarthens Hotel.

Do you know it?

Leg of Lamb, next time you fly in a helicopter, jump out of it please.
