There are 16 Players playing in groups of four. ie four groups of four players.

Player would be numbered 1-16

The tournament is played over five days

Each player plays everyday

Over the five day tournament each player must play against every other player ie:-

1st day  1,2,3,4   5,6,7,8   9,10,11,12   13,14,15,16    

2nd day  1,5,9,13   2,6,10,14   3,7,11,15   4,8,12,16

3rd day ?

4th day ?

5th day ?

is this possible to achieve

There are 120 combinations of 2 from 16 when A v B is the same as B v A. 

As the groups of four play six matches between them and the four groups play a total of 24 each day, it will be possible to play all the matches over the five days 

yes: 2^5 = 32
Each player has to play 15 other players. If you played three rounds a day for five days you could do it.
