Please does anyone know if "Douglas Henshall (actor) and Ruthie Henshall( musical actress) are related?

Nope.  (Not directly anyway - they might be cousins or something but don't think so)

As far as I'm aware Ruthie is an only child (her father used to be the theatre critic for the East Anglian Daily Times & editor of the Evening Star).  She grew up in the South-East / East of England & Douglas grew up in Glasgow.

Though Ruthie did marry a scot - John Gordon Sinclair, that might signify something.
