I am switching my ISP and cannot think of any way to download my rather long e-mail address book. I have resigned myself to printing it all out and typing it back in to my nrw one. Unless somebody knows different....?

Who is your current ISP ?
Are you using a webmail service or Outlook or Outlook Express for email ?
Search your C:\ drive for a file extension .wab
Copy this. It is your windows address book if using Outlook Express in XP

It is always hepful if you say what operating system and email programs you use for a precise answer
If Outlook Express Click Tools-Address book -File_Export pick the wab option and copy to a memory stick
In my first answer you need to select the option in search for hidden & system files.
Its location is C:\Documents and settings\yourloginname\applicationdata\microsoft\ *.wab
Open yer mail, go to tools, select address book, select tools, select export, save it in a folder of your choice. To get it back into your mail, follow the same steps except instead of exporting, you import and get it from wherever you saved it when you exported it.
