Did anyone watch the Exorcism programme on C4 last night? I wanted to but (sadly) was a bit scared because I didn't know what to expect, however the reviews I have heard today said it was basically pants. Apparently the gentleman being exorcised thought he was possessed because he drank too much and speeded on the motorway! What did everyone else think?

Started watching it, but got so bored I fell asleep. What I saw was terrible. The volunteer was just a bit stressed out from what I could gather, but after his 'deliverance' he said he felt fine. The scientists measuring brain patterns etc seemed a little unconvinced that any substantial had taken place. At one point I wasn't sure if this was some kind of elaborate hoax or not. The programme before this, "The Real Exorcist" was only slightly better, although I thought was a bit open ended & was full of examples of "their word against ours". Quite disappointing all round really!
I would agree with ninja.  It was very boring and the "excorcism" lasted about 20 seconds, this basically involved a clearly mentally ill god-freak asking a normal "born again christian" if he was ok...he said "yeah, i'm fine".

Yep I fell asleep to.

Mind you the show before it was interesting about the origin of The Excorsist.

I saw it and had to turn it off because it was soo boring. This is the kind of show would be ideal for Harry Hill to poke fun off in his TV Burp show, now that I love to see.
