Is Sudan 1 really dangerous? I've been using worcester sauce for ages and have not noticed that there are any effects,but I have heard that whe

no its best not to use it esp as it makes red things look redder and not much else

Sudan 1 was used to some colour chilli powder and that chilli powder was used to make some Worcester sauce, and the Worcester sauce was mostly used in ready meals. Therefore the amount will be tiny, but the stuff's banned for a reason!  Lea and Perrins (and probably most other Worcester Sauce manufacturers) are unaffected as the use chilli powder from a different sauce.
