It actually looks quit enice outside which is a nice change :)
Been catching up on some sleep as been tired all week and getting crap sleep last weekend and about to head into town for a nice coffee in the sunshine and try not to spend any money :)
Was hoping to get up to the Lakes tomorrow but weather doesn't look promising :(
If we plan to go to the Lakes, we go no mattter what the weather as we love it even though its a 3 hr journey.
Which part of the lakes do you like best ?
We love it around Keswick and up Blencathra
I used to live in Blackburn and we went up to the Lakes quite often. It is a beautiful place whatever the weather but when it rains it rains hard! I also like Keswick , burston but haven't been there for years now
Its a beaut day here in West Sussex.
Weekend off, did some shopping, bought a new keyboard for the computer and asked to a party tonight for two 15 year olds, I may look in for two minutes.
Want to watch X Factor.
Back after having a lovely coffee in the sunshine and doing some shopping and giving me bedroom a tidy now I can make it all nice and girly :)
Had the ex quizzing me about all my exciting new plans but fended him off as they are my plans and am doing them for me :)
I love the lakes, mainly been to Bowness and we used to go on trips on the boat when I did volunteering in Southport.
Weather sounds good :) When I checked yesterday it was mean to be raining.
Apparently theres some big swimming thing in the Lakes so it may be rammed :( Gonna have a google but have a back up plan of a nice carvery sunday lunch and the new Vin Diesel film if the Lakes in a no go.
If not tomorrow, will try for next weekend so any tips for where to go much appreciated :)
I spent a lovely afternoon at a park in Bolton with my son and a friend, it was a gorgeous day and we saw lots of animal, ate ice cream and went on the mini funfair. I was so proud of my little boy because he was gold as gold all day and didn't moan once. Result, he's fast asleep in bed now :)
It was a fantastic day here, we went up the mountains and walked for 2.5 hours around a huge lake and then we stopped for a cuppa on the way back to the car.
It's been very cloudy this afternoon, but I managed to mow our two lawns and a bit once more before the autumn and winter sets in.
The bit of lawn being the grassy path that leads up to the far shed.
By the late evening there wasn't a cloud in sight. It still is quite clear now.I love looking at the starry night sky occasionally. There,I saw a star twinkle just then!!!!
