Audi 100
I recently had a question answered by Kebabmeister (i think) regarding the oil light flashing and a bleeper going when you went above 2000rpm. There is plenty of fresh oil in the engine, I tried disconnecting the pressure sender to see if that was faulty but it made no difference, the engine is the 2.6 V6 one is there an other switch other than the one next to the oil filter, hopefully somebody can help. The problem appears more annoying than serious as the car has done 10000 miles like this

Further inspection of the remains of the engine found that the sump was full of dirt and debris, they figured out that as the engine speed increased, the iol pump pumped harder and the dirty and debris was sucked up into the iol strainer, and actaully blocked it, causing a drop in pressure, a simple engine flush, with a new filter and fresh oil would have fixed the problem.
