Type Henry the Eighth or Henry VIII , or even Henry 8 wives in google and you will soon see.

Anyway - he had 6.

The TV show, QI, showed, apparently how he actually only had 4 wives or something............perhaps you could google for that.........?
I think QI said he only had 2 wives (cannot remember exact details).

Although he went through six wedding ceremonies all his wives may not have been legal.

I think when he maried his second "wife" Anne Bolyen he was still married to his first wife.

His first marriage was declaled invalid because she had already been married to Henry's brother before he died very young.

His marriage to Anne of Cleves was annulled never having been consumated.

Mind you, I think that was QI being a bit "clever", most people accept he had six wives.
I think 3 and 4 are the wrong way round pickle, only based on the school boy mnemonic though: divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived.
Henry VIII was married 6 times. His marriage to Anne Bolyn was adulterous He also committed bigamy on his ex brothers wife Catherine of Aragon. On the whole he had a lot more wives (not his off course)
A fine upstanding gentleman who rightfully became Head of the Church of England ????
He married Catherine of Aragon after she had been married to his older brother and this wasn't permitted by the catholic church at the time. Then he married Anne Boleyn while the catholic church said that he was still married to Catherine and he shouldn't have been allowed to marry Anne anyway because he had had an affair with her sister Mary Boleyn. Jane Seymour was completely legal and died soon after. He then married Anne of Cleves and the marriage was annulled as she looked, in contemporary view at the time, like a 'horse'. (Or something like that). He then married Catherine Howard, a 16 year old who committed adultery (you can understand why). She was beheaded and Henry married Catherine Parr who survived him.
