My grand-daughter started work PART-TIME on 10/07/08 she hates the job how much notice (BY LAW) does she have to give to terminate her employment she does not work more than 15 hours per week.

If no contract then no notice period surely! Tell her to wit til her next pay day and then leave (otherwise they wont pay her probably!)
