There are loads of great memories, one funny one would be:
Steeling a huge metal barrier from some road works down the road for the halls, carrying it all the way back with a complete stranger, past the halls CCTV cameras and up three flights of tight stairs which was impossible, but you dont feel pain when your that drunk. All this just to get it into my flat.
I think it was like a 'right of passage' thing you were the coolest person if you smuggled the largest item off the street an into you flat lol
During a flat inspection for stolen street and roadwork signs we hid the huge barrier under clothes ..it was like trying to gift wrap a football or bike it was obvious what it was, but it went unnoticed. We were warned that another inspection would take place 24hrs later and all signs hidden should be placed outside the building for collection. Any one caught with any of these items after 24hrs would be fined.
So I was stuffed, and my flat mates, we couldn't get the barrier down the stairs it wouldn't fit. so in the early hours of the morning the day of the inspection completely drunk. we carried the barrier out of our flat along the corridors avoiding the CCTV and placed it out side the main flat door of a load of really annoying 'prim and proper' people, we stood it up outside their door and just legged it.
We never knew what happened to it and how it ever got removed lol
